​Ghost Towns of Washington is a website that was created to share, inform, and promote preservation of deteriorating historical sites relating to some of Washington States early communities and industries.

 

By documenting otherwise forgotten historic locations through exploration and photography. we hope to assist in creating a important archival record for the future.   We further hope to share the importance of history as it relates to our region, ensuring the significance, heritage, and respect for these sites is passed on to future generations. 

 

​Through our efforts we hope to honor the early mining, timber, agricultural, railroad, and industrial pioneering men and women who made Washington State  what it is today.
