O&B Mine (Oliver and Ben)

The O&B mine or Oliver and Ben mine named for the locators of the mine. The property dates to 1891 and was staked under the name O and B Mining and Milling Company. It is located on Toad Mountain Monte Cristo WA. Records indicate ore was shipped from the mine in 1895 but no significant production came out of the property. About 12 carloads of hand-sorted ore were shipped to the Everett smelter prior to 1901.

​The development work of the property was 3 adits connected by raises and a 3,400-ft. crosscut. Ore: Copper, gold, silver.
