The North Star copper mine is located in the Index Mining District of Snohomish County WA. The property consisted of 13 claims located on North Star Creek. The claims were connected to Index wagon road. The North Star claims were originally discovered in 1900 by by C.E. Larson. In March of 1903 the claims were operated by the North Star Mining Company.
The development work on the property consisted of 1,100 feet of tunnel, together with several drifts and cabins.
