Sheridan located in Wauconda District of Okanogan County WA.
Mineral discoveries were made in 1900 at the Phil Sheridan mine. Between 1906 and 1919 shipments of high grade gold-silver ore were made to smelters. In 1918 a 50 ton flotation mill was built at the mine, and concentrates averaging as much as 300 ounces per ton of silver were shipped until 1920.
The mine went idle in 1920. Today a few structures still remain standing. The mine mill succumbed to the ravages of time, and only ruins remain. The mine produced between $60,000 and $100,000 of silver during its production.
