The historic Roslyn Cemetery is located on the backside of the town of Roslyn in Kittitas County WA.
The cemetery is arguably one of the most unique and diverse cemeteries in the state. The cemetery is a combination of 25 separate cemeteries bordering each other. The cemetery was established in 1886 with land donated and or purchased from the Northern Pacific Company by various ethnic, civil and fraternal organizations.
Approximately 24 nationalities are represented among the 5,000 graves. Many of the coal miners killed in mining accidents in the Roslyn mines are buried in the cemetery.
