Middle #2 Mono Mine
The Mono Mine is located in the Miller River Mining District of King County WA.
The Mono Mine dates to the early 1900's. The claims were abandoned and relocated by Joe B Cashman in the 1950's. In 1966 the claims were operated by Mono Resources Inc. primarily producing copper ore. Mono Resources Inc. completed additional development work at the site by constructing a road 1.15 miles to the lowest portal and extending existing tunnels.
Due to numerous financial troubles Mono Resources Inc. ceased operations in the mid 1970's.
The underground workings consisted of three adits connected by a raise. The overall underground workings consisted of about 2500 feet.
