Bodie Mines located in Okanogan County WA.
The Bodie Mining Company was organized in 1902 to expand development of the original site location. Early mine production showed high grade ore containing as much as 20 ounces of gold per ton. The first period of mining ended in 1916 prior to the start of WWI. During this period the mines changed hands four times. Bodie Mining Company 1902-1907 - Bodie Mining and Transportation Co. 1907-1909 - Duluth-Toroda Mining Co. 1910-1912 - Toroda Development CO 1915-1916.
In 1902, Bodie Mining Co. installed a ten stamp mill using mercury amalgamation and cyanidation. By 1934 all of the mill equipment had been removed from the site.
