Alice Claim
Huntington Mill Patent plate
The Alice Claim is located in King County WA near McClellan Butte. The claim dates to the turn of the 20th century. The claim consisted of a mining camp and mill with approximately 500 feet of underground workings. A surface tramway was added to the site in 1900 in order to connect the 1000-foot-level to the mill located on Revington Creek.
Today a Huntington centrifugal roller mill invented by Frank Atwood Huntington in the 1880's remains at the site along with a small exploratory adit nearby.
