The Sheridan Mine is located in the Monte Cristo Mining District. The primary ores produced by this mine were gold, silver, copper. The mine was part of the Peabody Group.  Assays for this group showed 0.3 to 0.6 ounces of gold per ton and 1 to 36 ounces of silver.  This mine appears to have been a labor intensive poor producer. Although specific details of the assays and production of this mine are not recorded.

Ownership for this group according to records was as follows; L.H. McRae 1949, Kitty A Peabody 1936.

This mine is scheduled for remediation and closure of portal in 2013/14
