Several miles from the Gnome, Idaho mining camp in the Buffalo Hump mining district is the collapsed remains of the Crooked River Mill.
The mill was operated by the Clearwater Concentrating Company as a custom mill. Custom mills processed ore purchased from independent lode mining operations.
